A week in

I've got to say this week has been a little nuts! Moving day didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped but we made it through! We are mostly unpacked and have things in their place at home. J has been working very hard outside to make it look beautiful! We've been into town several times since moving to get things at the hardware store, plants, eating out and even a failed attempt at getting our drivers licenses updated. The drive to and from town isn't as long as I thought it would be so that's nice. We've talked with several people either at restaurants, hardware stores or just neighbors stopping by, all have been very nice and helpful!

Some big ticket items that we've gotten are a tractor and a UTV.  The UTV can seat 6 people if 2 of those people are small. We've had it for a day so far but it's been fun! The last 2 nights we've taken it on little adventures as a family when J is done in the yard. Tonight we went to go see cows & horses. It's fun to spend a little time together exploring at night. We can get the tractor on Monday so I know J will be busy after that.

I've been to 1 moms group and a play date with another moms group. The play date was with my Sister-in-law and her moms group. She brought my brother and niece of course! We went Apple picking and had a wonderful time! I know we're going to love being closer to them for future play dates.

Hopefully J will rest a little tomorrow after he finishes his list. Tomorrow while he's working baby and I will head into town and explore all the cute shops and maybe buy a few things for the house of course!
